The owner of the award-winning restaurant, Le Talbooth, and boutique hotel and spa, Maison Talbooth, were looking to rebrand both of these popular venues. Situated just a few miles apart in the scenic Dedham Vale, on the Essex/Suffolk border, Maison Talbooth has recently constructed a brand new spa facility which has been renamed Talbooth House and Spa.
The Brief
The client’s vision was to create branding that would better align the two venues into one resort, offering a more complete brand experience for customers of either site. The client provided the logo design, we then worked closely with the client to design the signage and specifications for each of the signs. With different types of signage required, including wall-mounted and totem, we adapted the design of each sign to ensure they fully met the requirements of the area they would be installed in. Internal illumination was key for total visibility at all times, which we achieved on all signage across both sites.
The Result
By using a mixture of aluminium and internally inset acrylic, as well as powder coating the signage to a specific RAL colour, we have created signage that has kept consistency throughout the business, and have provided a robust, maintenance-free signage solution that will last for years to come. We also created inset/embossed lettering specifically for this project. We have delivered signage that offers a fresh updated appearance and uniform feel across both sites, along with an enhanced customer journey and improved wayfinding for visitors.
